In general, I support the leader’s choice.

And ideally this experience is made available to all managers to include as part of their annual development plan.

It’s a potentially powerful (though costly) development tool, so organizations should deploy carefully and closely evaluate its utility.

I imagine even the most liberal organizations would be very conservative about offering this up to staff... both with respect to liability concerns as well as the anecdotal common implications: people often go through these experiences and want to quit their jobs!

Oh, no organization would ever offer this!! Bad idea for many reasons.

In all seriousness, there is huge therapeutic potential in these substances and I hope we continue to explore and accept their use if they prove effective.

I find the prospect of mind altering drugs going awry incredibly scary. To mitigate bad trips and things going askew, perhaps organizations should designate chief creative officers/oracles as subjects for these experiments. All that to say, I wouldn’t be comfortable doing it myself, but I’m eager to see others try 😂

It does seem like we're inching closer to being able to control for 'bad trips' in drug design, though that's way out of my expertise. I'm too afraid of a bad trip to try anything!
